Get a wetsuit on easily with a back-zip or free up some of your movement with a chest-zip. Check out the differences between these two classic wetsuit designs below.
The Back Zip is designed for ease of entry. If you have large shoulders and arms and find it difficult to get in a wetsuit the custom backzip wetsuit will be the easiest to slip on and off.
Huge opening allowing you to easily get a wetsuit on and off.
An adjustable collar that allows you to create your preferred tension around the neck.
- The best bet for larger surfers and divers
Zipper located on the back down the center can restrict lateral movement when swimming or paddling.
The Chest Zip wetsuit is a performance-inspired designed wetsuit. To minimize restriction the zipper was relocated to the chest away from paddling obstruction.
Zipper relocated from back to chest allowing for maximum stretch along the spine for easy forward lean
Arms are not restricted by the rear zipper allowing for easier paddling movement
Narrow top entry makes it a little challenging to get into for wide shouldered folks
It always comes down to a preference for each surfer or diver. All of our wetsuits are custom built by hand to your specifications. See our entire selection of custom wetsuits and find your next perfect fitting wetsuit.
